It will be easy with these great dinosaur birthday party supplies!
I love this 1st birthday theme – it’s called Little Dino 1st Birthday and it is adorable, isn’t it? This is one of the dinner plates from the collection and you can see the baby-like T-Rex in the center announcing to everyone that your little boy is 1 today!
Sometimes dinosaurs themes can be scary – but this one is perfect for a first birthday! All of the dinosaurs featured on the partyware are baby dinos in bright colors. Absolutely adorable!
Here are the main components of this theme so you can get a feel for how it all looks together:

The different components of this birthday theme really go well together! In fact, I think it’s adorable that they used 4 different dinosaurs on each of the different types of partywear to really give this theme a little punch!
I love that you can purchase an entire birthday in a single box with this Dino theme! This kit has everything you could possibly need to pull off the best 1st birthday party ever!

Decorations & Cake
Turn your house into a prehistoric world! Get some cardboard and make some volcanoes that you can put on the walls and maybe make some dinosaur cut-outs as well!
How about making a Volcano Cake! We did this for our son’s 3rd birthday and it turned out SO CUTE!!!
Isn’t this neat? What we did was to bake a red velvet cake in a pyramid shaped cake pan and then we baked an extra round cake for the base. From there you just trim off the sides to round the volcano (keep the extra pieces for hills for your dinosaurs to sit on!).
Frost your cake with chocolate frosting and use crushed oreo cookies (without the middles) to coat the outside of your volcano.
Get a mini pie tin (like the ones you get from pot pies) and hollow out just the top of your volcano cake (just enough to set the pie tin inside). Get yourself some dry ice (you can get this at the local grocery store believe it or not) and carefully chip off a small piece. when you are ready to bring out your cake, put the dry ice and some water in your pie tin and POOF! You have a smoking volcano!!!
To get the lava to melt down the sides, use vanilla frosting and red food coloring. To get the great melted look simply put this in your microwave for about 10 seconds (repeat as needed to get it to a liquid consistency). Using a spoon drizzle your lava from the top edge and let it drip down. It creates a really cool effect!
You can see our son really enjoyed this!!
Get creative when you go to present your volcano cake! Use plastic dinosaurs, fake palm trees and shrubs to create a prehistoric wonderland!
Pulling together a party is easy when you have all the tools you need! Below I’ve listed all the dinosaur birthday party supplies I showed you earlier plus some more cool ones I didn’t:
